American hard-rocker Ted Nugent—famous for his conservative political views and defense of the right to bear arms and kill animals and/or trespassers with them—lashed out with both barrels at supporters of PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) in a recent interview with Royal Flush magazine.
The 61-year-old singer-guitarist—who sold millions of albums in the ’70s and had a major hit with 1977′s “Cat Scratch Fever”—kicked off the chat by blasting some of PETA’s higher-profile members:
“My name is Ted Nugent and because of Pam Anderson and because of Bill Maher and because of Paul McCartney, all the members of PETA, whenever I hear the word ‘animal’ or ‘rights’ in the same paragraph, I’m killing an extra hundred of something this year.
“I have unlimited deer tags in Michigan and Texas,” continued Nugent, “and I don’t even need to kill them really, but I’m going to for Bill Maher. I’m not just killing them I’m fucking slaughtering them and I’m going to gut them and skin them, quarter them and butcher them and feed them to the soup kitchen and homeless shelters of America. Not because I need to, because it will cause Bill Maher to shit blood. That’s my goal in life.”
Nugent recently abandoned his home state of Michigan to take up residence in Crawford, Texas, not far from his hero George W. Bush. That way, he said, he can keep a machine gun in the front seat of his vehicle.
“Mess with me and I will fill you full of lead and then dance on your remains and keep the shit from your carcass in the cleats of my boots while I feed my dog your remains,” Nugent told Royal Flush, adding: “You can feel the love, can’t you?”
Not surprisingly, Nugent also took the opportunity to dump on Bush’s successor, U.S. president Barack Obama.
“I think that Barack Hussein Obama should be put in jail,” he ranted. “It is clear that Barack Hussein Obama is a communist. Mao Tse Tung lives and his name is Barack Hussein Obama. This country should be ashamed. I wanna throw up.”

Whenever Ted Nugent opens his mouth a spew of venom and unintelligent comments come spilling out. To say he is going to kill an extra one hundred dear because his delicate ears are offended by people like Pam Anderson and Paul Mcartney. WHAHH. why doesn’t he run into the wilderness (but don’t forget your manly gun) and stick your fat head in the ground.
Great spokesman for hunters. His speeches are redundant and bloated. He sounds like an uneducated boob who brings to mind all the negative stereotypes of hunters and gun owners. To go on how he is going to slaughter and gut deer in gruesome detail and crass cuss words says that anyone who supports him are a bunch of people from the movie deliverance with slack jaws and dazed eyes.
And I love how he redeems himself by donating all the meet to homeless shelters. And his attacks on President Obama are inarticulate rants. Someone who admires President Bush is not to be taken seriously on any level.
President Obama is trying to make some needed changes and he is not communist. Bush was a horrible president . Who got us into a needless war and made up words in speeches so that internationally we were portrayed as bumpkins in international politics and worlaffairs . He and his republican lapdogs are the who put us back into a national debt that skyrockets every second. which on a side note had been brought to zero by former Democratic President Bill Clinton. Another person Nugent attacked.
I liked his early music it was catchy but the lyrics are infantile and devoid of any intelligence. And became a hater of him when he made the comment relating to Kurt Cobain and his suicide. Just could not that big ole” ugly pie hole shut. He is so offensive.
And if you must know I am a Democrat, a Proud member of PETA, and a Vegan to boot. Penny Lane is my name. My Da is an eternal Hippie who does own guns but doesn’t feel the need to flash them around to make up for lack of Penis size.
The Beatles were always played and i learned John Lennon’s peace message through Imagine. Probably another thing Ted Nugent hates . The idea of world peace.
I also love President Obama he is going to change things. Paul McCartney, and the late beautiful soul Linda McCartney are some of my personal heroes. They helped inspire me to live life cleanly and peacefully.
A funny thing about the people he mentioned in particular Paul McCartney. Who when he speaks his opinions doesn’t defame anyone with personal attacks nor uses crass cuss words to get his points across could teach Foul mouthed Nugent something. That you do not have to be a demeaning toad voicing your views about people with obtuse witless comments. That are meant to rile up people that actually listen to him. YUCK!!!
In conclusion Ted Nugent needs to have his ugly mouth stapled tightly shut , strapped into a chair and forced to listen to monks chanting,while staring at the remnants of his precious machine gun. Which has been beautifully ripped apart and it’s pieces bolted to the wall. Thank You and Good Day.

Penny Lane, You think you live life right do you. That is your opinion and that you think Obama is going to help us. That is your opinion!Our opinion is that the great outdoors and freedom of hunting is the best thing in the world,so why don’t you and everyone that is butting in to our sport just do somthing like feed a hungry child or help a child that is getting abused.If half the antis would spend that money in helping a human then animals would benifit from that.Antis get a life and stay out of ours…

Without criminal conviction the state of Texas is busy taking animals away from their owners with unconstitutional civil forfeiture.

I don’t get it? Why are Peta and hunters opposed? Peta understands that deer populations need to be thinned. You can ethically hunt and keep pets. If you enjoy making animals suffer, then your a sick bastard and should be put down. Who hunts with a machine gun? If you need a AK47 to kill a deer, then your a wuss.
It’s the extremist from BOTH PETA and Hunters like Ted N. who seem to cause the most problems. Stick to the guitar Ted, people didn’t make you rich from shooting.
Hunting game for food is fine – I have no problems with it. I also like there to be people around to keep the jerk next door from abusing his dog. We also need to keep in check how much we hunt so we have species in the future for our children and grand children to hunt. Steak is a wonderfull thing, but a good rancher raises healthy animals, not abused animals.
Hunters and Peta need to make wildlife and the preservation of it their common goal.
There is plenty of room in the middle for everybody to agree.
