We can just imagine that hunters/sportsmen in California are cringing right now at the thought of wolves entering their state.

An article that was posted on the website “The Sacramento Bee” – sacbee.com, paints a very pro-wolf picture. The author who wrote this article is obviously very pro-wolf as many people are in California.

The article talks about the history of wolves in America and how the California Fish and Game Department is preparing for them entering the state within a few years.

Here’s an outright lie and false statement that was posted in the article talking about the impact or lack thereof on the elk herds in the west so far. – “Elk numbers have not been significantly harmed. Data from Idaho, Montana and Wyoming indicate larger herds overall than before the wolf returned. The distribution of some herds has changed, but the states report hunters have equal or greater success harvesting elk.”

We’re not sure where the author gets his facts and figures from but it certainly isn’t the same place the rest of us get ours from. He must be getting his facts and figures from the liberals and the animal rights groups who think they’re running the show.

Here’s what the Defenders of Wildlife had to say about wolves entering California: “It’s actually a reason to celebrate,” said Suzanne Asha Stone, Northern Rockies representative for the group Defenders of Wildlife, which led the charge to reintroduce wolves to the West. “I didn’t think I’d see it in my lifetime.”
