She had been very vocal in her opposition to hunters being allowed access to State Forests and was trying to put a bill through that would see the state's Game Council closed and hunting on public land banned. Her reasons given for this was that it was not cost effective even though conservation hunting is done by volunteers that don't get paid for hunting. The cost for professional animal control to cull deer is about $200 per animal!!!!

I would love to see a list of organizations that stand up against PETA, HSUS, and the like. Here are a couple that I'm familiar with.

USARK - the United States Association of Reptile Keepers

PIJAC - the Pet Industry Joint Advisory Council

NAIA - the National Animal Interest Alliance

NRA - the National Rifleman's Association

SCI - Safari Club International

HUMANEWATCH.org

The list goes on. Why aren't these groups and their members funding campaigns against these organizations. Why aren't they shedding a light on the activities of these groups. I think a Superbowl commercial showing how many animals PETA euthanizes each year would be quite effective. A commercial showing how little HSUS actually gives to hands on shelters and how much they spend on salaries and marketing would be great.

Also helps if you mention the Danish study which can be found on the European Bowhunting Association (EBA) website. It disproves PETA's emotional argument that bowhunting is inhumane……..it was found to be equally humane as using a rifle or shotgun.

I urge everyone to write in and support bowhunters, even if you only use guns. PETA are the common enemy to all sportsmen and women of the world. They won't stop their bitching until everyone on the planet is eating their vile disgusting tofu and vegie burgers!

well i erased the message and instead wrote how bowhunting takes patience and skill and if our ancestors hadn't

done it we wouldn't be here.  i also said that peta people are out of touch with reality and not to listen to them.

jersey, the us and the world have alot bigger problems to deal with than deer getting shot with arrows.  i guess

indians are monsters in their eyes.  i told Jersey to keep up the good work.  you can go on their site and do the

same thing.  its about time we fight fire with fire.  use their own site aginst them.  i feel good and all warm inside.

Thanks for the response. When we upgraded the site we tried to save the posts from "The Hunters Wall" but couldnt transfer them over. There were some great posts on there and hopefully the same people come back and posts their opinions on here again.
