Hunters Against PETA lends it’s support to Utah Sen. Allen Christensen to help in the fight to keep wolves from spreading to Utah

Here is an email we sent to Utah Sen. Allen Christensen lending our full support.

Dear Sen. Allen Christensen,

First we’d like to thank you for supporting sportsmen everywhere especially in Utah for standing up and recognizing the serious threat wolves are to our livestock and big game animals here in the west and soon to be Utah if we don’t take action.

We are Hunters Against PETA, an organization formed in Utah early spring 2009 due to the threat of anti’s in America trying to take away our rights as hunters, sportsmen and Americans.

I’m sure I speak for all members of Hunters Against PETA and sportsmen in America when I say that wolves are wiping out our elk herds in the upper western states namely Idaho, Montana and Wyoming, such as you have stated. They are a serious threat to the future of hunting in the west.

Here`s what Montana State University had to say after a study they conducted in Yellowstone National Park regarding the serious wolf problem:

“The decline in the Greater Yellowstone’s elk population since the reintroduction of wolves in 1995 has been greater than was originally predicted. In the three winters prior to the reintroduction of wolves, elk on Yellowstone’s northern range numbered roughly between 17,000 and 19,000. In the three winters prior to 2008, annual elk counts had declined to between 6,738 and 6,279.”

The numbers speak for themselves.

We at Hunters Against PETA want you to know that we will lend our full support to you in anyway we can to combat this issue as we feel it is a serious threat to our big game animals in the west. Any victory the anti`s get big or small gets them one step closer to their goal.

We’ve also sent a copy of this email to John Hollenhorst at KSL.com letting them know of our support for you.

Again thank you for your efforts in this cause and we look forward to working with you on this problem in the near future.

Sincerely,

Jason Fackrell

Founding Member of Hunters Against PETA

I am sorry but this friggen site angers me. Call me a tree hugger, or a hippie, but no. Man has no right to say where or where not the animals go. Including the wolves. They had just been taken off the endangered species list, and now you want to hunt them. For what? your just going to go around killing freaking wild dogs? There not evil(like in all of those stupid stories), they are really just calm animals, Beautiful wild creatures. I think for everything their useful for that you would take them out to drag you around somewhere. Anything is better than KILLING them again. Man has done enough damage to this whole freaking world. It HAS to stop.
