Hunter Kills Charging Wolf In Northern Minnesota

Two hunters in Northern Minnesota were out hunting ruffed grouse last week with their dogs. The hunters were alarmed when one of the dogs came running back to them with a 90 pound adult male wolf on it’s heels. One of the hunters took aim, waited for an open shot and killed the wolf with his shotgun. It was self-defense and completely justified.

Wolf season opens on November 3rd in Minnesota. Animal rights groups are trying their best to get this wolf hunting season shut down.

If you’re out hiking, hunting or camping in areas that have wolves please always carry some type of firearm. Good luck to all of the hunters in Minnesota that have a wolf tag. We wish you a successful hunt and hope you fill your wolf tag. – Hunters Against PETA
